We had a clean, spacious room that looked nice, and the shelves and hooks were handy for our snowmobile gear. The trail is easy to reach from the motel parking lot, and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Staff were friendly during our two-night stay for a business conference and snowmobiling. The electronic keys kept needing to be reset, even though we kept them away from our phones, so I went to the front desk at least four times. We were on the fourth floor, and one elevator was out of order. Breakfast was continental style and expensive. It's a nice motel overall, and I'd like to stay again.

The sauna, hot tub, and pool are a nice part of the stay, and the hotel bar and grille has plenty of tasty choices. I just wish the menu were a little bigger. The hotel is close to town, shops, and food, and they consistently give me a clean room at a reasonable rate while meeting my needs. If you're visiting for business or something important at NMU, ask for the “university rate” when you book. They should be able to give you a better nightly price. Thanks for the great service and experience each time.

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I stayed for a week for work, after the hotel had been newly remodeled. Four stars only because it's a Holiday Inn rather than a five-star hotel. I was happy here and would stay again.

During bad weather and a stressful family emergency, Alison was compassionate and empathetic. She helped us through a difficult travel situation and was very accommodating. We really appreciate her kindness.

The rooms are clean, and the pool's deep enough to actually swim in. The hot tub is huge and the sauna works great. I'll be back, though I wish dogs were allowed.
