We got a suite upgrade as Diamond Members without even asking, which is hard to beat. The desk staff were really nice at check-in, and there was plenty of parking. The room was clean, with good beds and pillows. It’s easy to reach right off Interstate 20 in Marshall, TX, and there are lots of nearby restaurants and gas stations. We’ll definitely stop here when passing through on our way back to the Holiday Inn Express in South Padre Island, TX, and then Central Wisconsin. A+A+A+A_A+

Easy to get to, reasonably priced, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. The rooms were nice and clean, the AC worked great, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great too, and the employees were kind and very helpful.

The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, and the showers hot. There was very little highway noise despite the convenient location off Interstate 20, and downtown Marshall is just a short drive away. Highly recommend it. I’d stay here again.

We slept well in a clean room that had all the amenities we needed, and the rooms were great. It got a little warm and humid at night, but nothing intolerable. The pool wasn’t very big, though it was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and attentive. For the state park, the hotel was a little out of the way. It’s off a main highway, which I’m sure makes it a better location for other travelers.

The front desk staff have been so nice, but the rooms are old and need updating. I was here for two weeks for a trial, and when my AC stopped working, I was moved from room to room for a few days while they said they’d replace the unit. The temperature was tolerable, but it still wasn’t as cool as it should have been. Housekeeping doesn’t seem to clean very well.
