The staff’s friendliness and the cleanliness are why I’m giving this place the highest rating. Cameron greeted us warmly, paid attention to details, and explained everything clearly. We had a short but pleasant stay, and the location was convenient. The hotel looks almost brand new and was impeccably clean. I also appreciated that, for once in this price range, the hallways didn’t smell of marijuana. The room was cleaned perfectly, the TV was very good, and breakfast was clean and neatly laid out, with quality in line with the price. The coffee was excellent and available around the clock. The decor is minimalist, a bit like the new look at fast food restaurants, which makes sense for the cost. I didn’t like having shared dispensers for shampoo and soap, since so many hands touch them, even in the shower, though they looked clean. Soundproofing wasn’t great, especially at the windows. You could hear almost everything outside, and the wind made it unbearable. I’d take points off for the engineering and decor, but the price matches what you get, so I can’t ask for more. I recommend it. It’s very good.

The room setup has an interesting, almost college dorm feel to it, and the lobby and common spaces have fun games. The entry is welcoming and lively, and staff are very friendly. Beds are comfortable, the shower is fantastic, and the decor feels current. Overall, it’s a nice place. There’s no coffee or microwave in the room, which seems odd, though both are available in the lobby and common area. The luggage carts are awful, hard to steer, small, and scarce. You’re close to stores, restaurants, and the interstate, but getting out of the area can be tricky at certain times of day.

Cameron went out of his way to help me at checkout when I needed to print work documents and ran into a problem with the file. He patiently spent quite a while getting it sorted and made sure I had what I needed. He really cared, and service like that makes a difference. I hope management recognizes and looks after him. I was only here one night, but the location was excellent, the hotel was very clean, and the service was outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about my stay. If you visit Martinsburg, I highly recommend it. You’ll feel at home.

We were really pleased with our stay. The room was clean and spacious, and all the amenities we needed were in great condition. Breakfast was included and good. The shower had excellent water pressure, a small thing that made a nice difference. We’re very satisfied and would highly recommend this place.
