Travel Inn

I'm currently homeless and have stayed at a few hotels here in Martinsville. This guy was super nice and helpful, and checked the room after checking me in just to make sure it was good. I'd never had that happen before, and it was really nice. They have the best bed I've ever slept on. I'd stay again once I have the money. Thank you!

We booked this motel for two nights. I arrived around midnight on the first night and was away most of the next day on vacation. When I tried to leave and get a refund, the owner refused, even after Expedia called him twice. He said I should've told him sooner, but I wasn't there. He offered other rooms, but every one we entered had roaches. He said I was being ridiculous because nobody else had a problem with it. There were roaches crawling everywhere, including in my bed, and they came out of my shoes by the time I left. The sheets were stained, there was hair lining the bath, and there was no hot water. When I asked for clean sheets, he said there was a second bed and I could use that. He sprayed a couple spots for roaches but didn't pick up the ones he'd sprayed, and did nothing about the lack of hot water. I have videos of all this. Do not stay here.

The two brothers who run Travel Inn are kind, sweet, and awesome. They seem to care about people instead of being all about money like most business people. In my experience, Travel Inn is hands down one of the best hotels I've stayed at. If you need a place for a while or are just passing through, take a load off at the Travel Inn in Ridgeway Virginia.

I'd booked a room months ahead for an October trip, then it was suddenly canceled with the claim that I'd requested it. I never canceled, and now they're booked for the same dates. No answer or explanation.
