RT Lodge

The food was great, especially the huge, juicy burger, fresh fries, and rich, moist chocolate cake. The burger was too much for us, so we had leftovers. We ate in the comfortable bar area, where the staff were attentive and polite. Our server seemed devoted to her job and took a few minutes to chat with us about our dogs. The patio is dog friendly, and they have s’mores there in the evening. We were a little confused that the bar, main restaurant, and patio each had different menus. It was actually the same menu, but we could order fewer things outside the main restaurant. The multiple buildings, including the restaurant and lodging rooms, sit in a peaceful spot with lovely landscaping and festive lights. I’d like to return in winter to see the Christmas decorations and stay for a weekend in one of the reasonably priced rooms.

The rooms at RT Lodge are basic but comfortable, and the food is the real standout. Even the fried chicken sandwich was amazing. Out back, the fire pit is a nice place to relax with a cocktail and take a break from home. RT Lodge never disappoints. Check it out whether you’re staying the night or just stopping by the lounge for a bite.

The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive without hovering. You can tell they care about the experience. The food was beautifully presented, flavorful, and cooked just right. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend!

The chicken dinner for two was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. It came family-style in four courses, and we loved every bit of it. RT Lodge also made our anniversary feel special: the staff left a congratulatory note on the table signed by everyone after I mentioned it in the reservation. We were welcomed warmly and offered drinks while we waited. A great choice for a special occasion.
