La Plaza Del Sol

We had a nice room that was old but freshly renovated, clean, and very quiet. We slept really well. Greg the manager made sure everything met our expectations and that we enjoyed the stay. We were there for Labor Day weekend. The pool was clean, deep, and well maintained. Having a cider from a can, since bottles aren’t allowed around the pool, while sitting in the sun and quiet made for a memorable moment.

We sometimes found Doug lurking outside at night. He was unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome. He did let us stay longer until our rental came through, but made it quite clear we weren’t welcome. On our first day, Doug the manager accused us of lying about how many people would stay. He was rude and arrogant, and charged us more than anyone else in the building, based on what we heard from other tenants. During a difficult time when people were trying to find a place to live, he showed no care for their circumstances. I’d never advise anyone to stay there.

I picked a guy up for work there. This isn’t really a hotel or motel, and I see people living there year round. Not sure about weekly stays. If you’re on vacation, look elsewhere. Is saving 20 bucks worth it? I think it’s worth 25 a night. Bring sheets and towels.

They say it’s kid friendly, but it’s not. They locked me and my 2 year old out and put all our belongings, including our food, outside. They didn’t give us blankets, towels, or a shower curtain, and the staff harass customers and lie to get more money. The staff were awful, rude, and nosy. The owners do drugs out back once deck. Owner Bob and daughter Don were unpleasant and rude, constantly drinking and violent. Really bad place to stay. Don’t waste your money.
