Southcape Resort Mashpee a Ramada by Wyndham

The pool was great and the sauna was awesome. We came in the off season and had a blast, and we’ll definitely be back. It was also a plus that Boston is about an hour away. The rooms are dated, but clean, with everything you need, and close to the main town.

The washer and dryer in our unit were great, and they provided nice shampoo and conditioner. The pull-out bed was just average, and there were crickets in the kitchen and spiders in the corners when we arrived. It was extremely hot inside at first and took a whole day to cool down. The amenities are good, and the place felt pretty cozy and safe. I’d come back if I needed to, though I’m sure you could find a better resort for the price.

The rooms were very clean and everything worked as it should, so it was perfect for what we needed. The furniture and fixtures are very old and could use an update. I never saw an employee until checkout, and the hours are ridiculous, though I didn’t need help. I didn’t use the pool because it closes at 4 PM. It really should stay open later, which was a bummer.

We like the location, with easy access to different parts of the Cape and Mashpee Commons. There are also plenty of places to walk, even in November. This is our timeshare, and not much has changed over the years. We like to cook when we’re there, so newer pots and pans would be good. There was no frying pan this time. In the past, we had to check at arrival to see whether anything was missing. Construction on a new building right behind was a bit loud.
