Ludington Blue Spruce Inn

The room was cute and nicely done, and we even had a pleasant place to sit outside on a rainy day. This was the cleanest hotel or motel we’ve stayed in, even compared with the many Hiltons we’ve visited. Gavin was always prompt and ready to help, touching up our room each day and bringing ice whenever we needed it. I’d recommend blue spruce inn and would gladly stay again. Thanks for making our trip wonderful!

Breakfast included yogurt and granola bars, and there was outdoor seating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with fluffy towels and very warm water. The place smelled fresh and clean, and the location was great, within walking distance of both the beach and town. Excellent value!

The rooms were clean, and the parking lot was quiet and convenient. Check-in was super easy, and the owners were very accommodating. My wife and I loved the quiet neighborhood and the easy walk of a block or two to the beach and lighthouse. During our stay, there was a community bonfire at the beach with live music, which was a delight. We walked to the lighthouse first thing in the morning to wave to the S.S. Badger as it left for its morning run. It was a great moment on our trip. I’d keep this place to myself, but they’ve earned a good review. We were very pleased on our way back down from the U.P., and we can’t wait to return to Ludingon and stay at the Blue Spruce Inn!

It’s a small motor, a little dated but not bad, and the bathrooms have been updated. The rooms were very clean, and everything else was okay. The mattress on my bed was too hard and needed replacing.
