Intown Suites Extended Stay Matthews Nc - East Independence Blvd

The room was much better than the one I’d been shown at the other location. It’s very clean, there are no bugs or noticeable smells, and the hot water and water pressure are good. No complaints so far. I drove all the way from Texas yesterday (3/2). My original booking at another InTown Suites didn’t work out, but they were accommodating and called this location to find me a room. Dre was really helpful and courteous.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The room was dirty and looked nothing like the advertised pictures. It had roaches, a sunken, uncomfortable bed, no washcloths, and a bathroom vent that sounds like a motorboat gargling nails. The whole hotel was out of toilet paper. Although the property is non-smoking, my room smelled strongly of smoke and the comforter had several cigarette burns.

The property, staff, and location are all nice. For long-term stays in Matthews and Charlotte, North Carolina, this is probably the best place to book. Best, Zchaun Brown

The bathroom is nice, with a good shower, and they provide two towels and two washcloths. That worked well for my short stay as one person. The kitchen area works fine too, though after three days I found a few bugs in my room. Nothing major, but keep your food secured. The staff are great about helping you find a room that suits you, even if it takes showing you four or five. Every room I saw smelled like smoke, though, so that could be a dealbreaker. I’d visit before booking so you know what you’re paying for.
