Quality Inn & Suites Matthews - Charlotte

We stayed in room 123, which opened straight to the outside. I hadn’t realized that when I booked, but it was handy to walk right to the car. I got nervous after booking when I went back and read the reviews, but our stay turned out pretty good. The floor could have used a sweep or mop, so the room wasn’t the cleanest. Still, for the price, it was okay. No mold, odd smells, or signs of rodents, which was a relief.

Tawanna and Chris at the front desk make you feel welcome, and that really matters when you’re spending your money here. They treat my Platinum status like it counts, with genuine respect. I’ve stayed many nights, and for the price, this is the best. The rooms are clean, housekeeping does its job, and the grounds are kept up and feel secure. I’ve never needed to ask for the manager, so I haven’t met them. Thanks, Tawanna and Chris!

Sandy checked us in and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He’s the best. We came to Quality for some quiet time, and the hotel was really nice, with an extremely friendly, kind staff.

Those rat bait boxes were out in plain view, which was a little unsettling. But inside, the hotel was clean and pest-free, and we felt safe and looked after. The room was spotless, with no carpet or mold, and seemed freshly renovated. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was included and well stocked each morning, and the staff gave great service. After a horrible stay somewhere else, we were glad we chose Quality Inn for these two nights. We’d definitely return.
