The location made the two-week work stay easy, with plenty of stores and places to eat within walking distance when the weather was warm. Breakfast was good, and I had it every morning after work. Celeste, the manager, was always helpful and made sure things were going well. Really, the whole staff was great, even when we kept losing our keys. They helped us without any attitude.

We had an issue with the tub stopper, and when the staff couldn't fix it, they quickly found us another room. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was great too, especially the coffee machine with lattes and flavored coffees. I'd definitely stay here again on another trip.

The breakfast alone would make me want to come back. I've never seen a complimentary spread that felt so exquisite, and the woman running the kitchen, whose name starts with M, was amazing. She walked me through the different appliances and patiently answered my questions, even while keeping the area spotless. Hearing about her time as a hospice nurse really touched me. The room was clean and the stay was good. I'm sorry I can't remember her full name.

The refrigerator was terrific for a long weekend, and the room itself was clean, updated, and comfortable. This former Old Mattoon HI, now Heartland Inn, is a very nice BW property. Breakfast was available, too. I'd definitely stay again.

I had a really pleasant three-night stay. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was delicious. They were accommodating too, so I'll absolutely come back.
