The scenery from the patio was wonderful, and we could ski straight from there onto the trails. We stayed four nights as a group of four in a two-bedroom suite. It was clean, had everything we needed to cook, and the bed was comfortable. Freestone is one of our favorite places to stay.

The cabin was cozy, with lovely natural light, plenty of room and storage, and even a dishwasher. We would have had a great ski weekend if the power hadn't gone out. There were also heating problems at the lodge, and the holiday brought one challenge after another for the crew. Still, they stayed professional and relaxed, and were responsive and understanding throughout. Freestone let us check out early without a penalty, and we really appreciated that. I'm sure other guests will feel they're in good hands too. We'll be back before long.

Room 1 opened straight onto the lawn and lake, and it was close to the hot tub. The room itself was amazing, and we loved having a fireplace. For two people, though, the seating was limited to a desk and one armchair, so relaxing together was a little difficult. Next time we'll look at the larger rooms, which seem to have more seating. There is also a nice patio seating area for summer. Reception is staffed from 9am to 5pm, and after that you collect your key from the keybox. The lovely pizza place on site is currently open until 7pm on some days of the week. We loved our stay, and it exceeded our expectations.

Our king room looked just like the pictures, and it was beautiful and CLEAN. The bed was really comfortable, and the setting was gorgeous and secluded. It was a perfect spot for visiting the national park. We also loved the pool and hot tub. Such an amazing stay at the freestone inn, and we'd definitely recommend it. Hope to come back!

The patios behind the rooms look out over the mountains and give you access to the lake. The whole property is lovely, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. We spent two nights at the lodge over Labor Day weekend and hardly saw another guest. It was quiet, peaceful, and restorative. There's no Internet, but that was clearly stated before we booked, so it wasn't an issue.
