The rooftop is a nice feature for a hotel in this category, and the whole place seemed well maintained. Our room was cleaned daily, which I really appreciated. The front desk team was consistently helpful and courteous. For Los Angeles, this felt like good value: a reasonably priced stay with services that fit the cost.

I came in expecting less after reading all the negative Google reviews, but checking in changed my mind. The rooms were fresh and very clean, and everyone working there was attentive, caring, and kind. Breakfast was incredibly good. The woman serving it was especially pleasant and thoughtful. I'm genuinely happy with this hotel and the care they put into their work, so I wanted to leave a positive review.

The rooftop garden with its potted plants is beautiful, and the views are spectacular. Nate was wonderful up there, and Azalea was just as great at the front desk. It's a lovely boutique hotel with a pool and restaurant, and a great location for the museum. We'll stay here again.

We spent 6 nights at the Kimpton while going to medical appointments at a nearby facility. It was such a calm, quiet place to come back to, and the staff were friendly, kind, attentive, and helpful throughout. The location made things easy too, with the mall, medical facilities, and lots of good restaurants within walking distance. We loved our stay. Thank you, Kimpton!

The staff were generally friendly, but coming back late after a long day to find the room untouched was a real letdown. The bed hadn't been made and the towels hadn't been replaced. At that point I may as well book a BnB. I called reception to ask for fresh towels, and the guy who brought them was incredibly arrogant. It made an already bad experience worse.
