The Scandia Inn

After a day of hiking, it was great to come back to the hot tub and sauna. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches that made it cozy. The bathroom was clean too, but it needs a towel hook. Its small heater kept the room warm on chilly days, though a rack or hook above it would be useful for wet towels or damp things. The first night was very quiet since we were the only room booked mid-week. On the second night, we could hear the people next door walking around all night. It sounded like they were above us, which was strange because there's no floor above. The inn is an easy walk from the lake and many restaurants, and we enjoyed our mid-week getaway.

The staff took great care of our group and kept in close communication. The location worked perfectly for our corporate retreat, and though it's on the main road into McCall, it felt private and secluded. We watched a movie and did yoga on the lawn, and the modern rooms made for a good night's sleep. The meeting room suited our needs, with AV and speakers included as a nice bonus. I'd absolutely return for a non-work stay. It's a great base for exploring McCall, with everything within walking distance.

Such a cute hotel, and the staff were really friendly. It's also convenient for getting to all the great downtown McCall spots. I didn't have time to try the hot tub or sauna, but they looked lovely. I'll definitely stay again.

The room isn't big, but it looked good and had everything we needed. I was impressed by how clean it was, and the covers and bed liner smelled really fresh, which is my biggest concern when I book a room. Jessica was so hospitable. When we checked in, there were no connected rooms, but I told her I wanted two rooms together, and a few minutes later she'd found two connected rooms. There was a fire-pit right in front, and she offered my kids S’mores to make, which really impressed us. I wish there'd been a floor light. It was pretty dark at night when the seniors went to the bathroom. Some guests also ignored the NO drinking and Food sign on the wall and were drinking beer in the sauna and hot tub while we tried to use the hot tub. Even so, I still want to give them 5 stars. Remember to read the link after booking, since it has information you'll need during your stay. We'd just finished a 3-day vacation in McCall. After comparing online reviews, I booked two rooms in Scandia Inn and made a good choice.
