We came from Houston to Mississippi for a funeral and checked in online to save time. The man at the desk didn't greet us until I spoke first, then handed over a room card. The room seemed clean at first, but I spotted stains on the toilet seat and wiped down the whole bathroom. We laid a towel on the shower floor so our feet wouldn't touch it, and I had nothing to clean the tub with. We skipped breakfast because we didn't want another disappointment. On our way out, a worker was blowing dirt around the lobby with a lawn blower. She stopped briefly for me, but my husband had to walk through while she kept sending dirt into the air. We got the overnight place to sleep that we needed, I guess.

The rooms were clean, and the manager and staff were caring, friendly, and accommodating. I had a very good stay, except for one thing: the food was horrible.

We only stayed the night, but the service was great. They let us check in even though the printer for the sign-in sheet was down, and said we could sign later. The bed looked less comfortable than it turned out to be, and breakfast was the usual fare, just okay. I'd stay here again.

We'd come back to Mccomb if we need a place to stay again. It was a good value, with a nice breakfast, clean and spacious room, and friendly staff. There are nice restaurants nearby, too. We recommend “Tirtilla Soup,” the Mexican restaurant within walking distance.
