Best Western Plus McDonough Inn & Suites

The cleaning staff packed up my luggage because of a booking issue. I understand that kind of mix-up can happen, and we got past that part. What I didn’t expect was to find all my cash gone after staff went through my bags. I shouldn’t have had cash in my luggage, and that part is on me, but the money was taken. Don’t stay here. Management, you have my details if you want to contact me. Don’t bullshit me, your staff stole money.

For the price, it was a reasonable deal. The older hotel has large, clean rooms, basic amenities, and a comfortable bed. The front desk staff were pleasant. The coffee machine didn’t work. Breakfast was satisfactory, but items were only replenished once they ran out, which meant waiting and raised concerns about freshness.

Stefanie at the front desk was amazing during our visit for my son’s band audition. She was friendly, patient, and helped us with everything we needed. After a four-hour drive, the pool was a great way to unwind. The room was very nice, though the beds weren’t that comfortable. Stefanie was there whenever we needed anything else.

The breakfast was better than we expected, and its rotating menu would give you some variety if you stayed several days. Our room was clean and fairly spacious, the heated pool was clean, and check-in was easy. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had an excellent stay.
