Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, McDonough, GA

Bed bugs in room 316. We rented two rooms for one night on the way home, and my kids woke up covered in bites. We didn't notice any bugs in our room. The manager first argued there weren't any, then changed his tune after, I assume, checking. We did get our money back, but had to wash and dry everything before we could leave, delaying the trip by three hours. Luckily, we hadn't brought much inside. The elevator felt sketchy, the floors were gross, and the linens were stained. The floors and walls were dirty too. Breakfast was decent and the women at the desk were nice. The only good thing was being right off the highway we needed. Ridiculous, 0/5.

I had a good stay from the 8th to the 11th with the first group of staff. The man at checkout was pleasant and there were no problems. But when I prepaid for another room today, the owner said I had to stay on the first floor because people had complained about kids on the third. My child is 12, not a toddler running around, and we weren't even in the room for half our stay. He also claimed there had been complaints about my room, which wasn't true. When I asked why nobody had told me, he had no answer. I asked him to check the cameras and bring the man and woman who had checked me in and out, but he refused. I believe he was lying. I asked if he profiles African Americans based on previous guests, and he said yes. He doesn't want African Americans staying on any floor but the first. I'm very disappointed in the Patel family and will be contacting my lawyer.

One of the nicest hotels around here. The staff were professional, housekeeping had things in hand, and the coffee and breakfast were good and well organized.

This is the place I choose whenever I need to stay in McDonough. The rooms are clean and kept up well, the staff are really friendly, and even the breakfast was good.
