Sheraton McKinney Hotel

I was spoken to abruptly and loudly in front of my children over a couple of muffins, and I won’t be coming back to this location. I only wanted to take a few packaged items before leaving for work, not use the full breakfast service. I travel often for work and had recently switched my loyalty from Hilton to Marriott without any problems until this stay. Since I needed to leave at 7:00 a.m., I asked the receptionist the night before whether we could grab muffins at 6:45. I was told it should be fine. But when I came down with my children at 6:45, I was told to “get out” because breakfast didn’t open until 7:00. I explained what I’d been told, but was again told to leave. I then asked the front desk if someone could hand me a couple of muffins so we could avoid more disruption, and they said no. The breakfast start time is later than I usually find when traveling for business. The whole exchange was disappointing and unnecessary, and the customer service wasn’t what I expect.

Kimberly was a huge help with our wedding room block and made the whole process smooth from beginning to end. The team was amazing, and she went above and beyond. Thanks for helping make our wedding weekend easy and stress-free!

The club lounge is really convenient, with good breakfast and snacks in the afternoon and evening. Staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s a good hotel for a stay near McKinney.

I really enjoyed the food menu, and the first-floor bar is handy with good drinks. The rooms are clean, and housekeeping does a thorough job. The location is great too, between the Allen outlet and other main attractions.
