We stayed there every week about three years ago, then moved out after two months when I lost my job. Since an incident during our move, they have refused to let us stay there again. A chair fell off the vehicle we were driving and hit the lady owner’s car. She didn’t have to raise a fuss; she could have handled it civilly, but instead she threatened to call the cops on my husband and so on. We left the chair behind and moved on to Smyrna Tennessee, then Manchester. Since then, people have tried to get us to stay there, but the hotel refuses. I think that’s bad business. The rooms were okay, not the best, and don’t try cooking in them. It makes the power go out. I recommend an electric skillet instead of a two-eye burner.

We visited a friend who had moved in. The place looked like it had been under different management. It was clean, and there was no ruckus.

I’d think hard before staying here. I was in a weekly room for two weeks, then the managers asked me to leave without giving what I felt was a legitimate reason. First they accused me of having a pet without telling them or paying the extra fee, but I proved that was completely false. Then they said it was because I had company after 9pm, a policy I hadn’t known about and thought might be illegal or unenforceable. The manager finally settled on a third reason: one visitor was considered a “shady character.” I still have no idea what the manager meant by that. They didn’t want me there, and couldn’t give me a legitimate reason. The abrupt eviction put a lot of stress on me while I was already going through an extremely difficult situation and had nowhere else to go. I eventually found another room after spending a few days looking and staying with a friend, who already had enough on their plate. It was a real hardship created by McMinnville Inn management. The room itself was decent for the price, and the two-queen room was spacious and clean, with really comfortable beds. But German cockroaches shared the room with me, and their numbers kept growing in a disturbing way. Frankly, I’m glad I was kicked out. German cockroaches like to follow people around, and once established, they don’t like to leave. Towel service was daily, but if the then-new housekeeping staff member didn’t like you, don’t expect towels back. I kept asking and waiting for replacements that never came, so I had to ask other staff or management. The price is affordable, especially if you have someone to split the cost with. I saw two domestic altercations during my brief two-week stay: one verbal disagreement between hotel managers, and another between two guests that became physical. Police came for that one. That was one of a handful of times I saw police at the hotel during my stay. If you do stay, be on your toes and bring a can of RAID.

This was by far the worst place we’ve ever stayed. It’s run down, and the owner won’t fix anything. Our room had no working phone, and whenever the person above us turned on the tub water, it flooded. The ceiling in our room didn’t just leak, it poured, ruining anything underneath. If you have children or are respectable people, I wouldn’t stay at that motel.

My pet is family, so we're leaving. I was first told animals were allowed, then two weeks later told some kinds weren't. It came down to the animal having to go or us leaving, after they'd taken our money. The place is run down, and management backs whoever has been there longer. If you bring up a problem, they discuss it with other residents. There's a lot of drama here, and we've seen bugs and ants, with a couple of bites too. They aren't pet friendly.
