Scottish Inn McMinnville

We were glad to choose a locally owned hotel under new management. The new team is clearly working hard to turn the place around, and it shows in the spotless rooms and friendly staff who take pride in their work. It's easy to walk to some good local restaurants, and the rates are the best in town. In a small vacation town, spending at family businesses helps the community instead of sending money to big chains. It's nice to see a local family rebuilding, hiring local people, and keeping prices fair. We can't wait to visit after the remodel is finished, though it's already a gem worth supporting. Stay local.

The power kept cutting off and coming back without any explanation, which felt unsafe. The restrooms were dirty, maintenance was poor, and management was very disappointing. I didn't feel comfortable or secure there. They need to make serious improvements.

I want my money back. I've been waiting 30 minutes for someone to come talk to me, and I don't care about their policy. I'm not from here and won't stay somewhere like this again. It took 45 minutes to find anyone to check me in. The room smelled bad and had no towels or trash can. I called twice, then went to the empty front desk or night window during the day, but got no response. There was barely any water pressure, and when I tried their hair dryer a roach flew out and hit me. The staff were the rudest, most unprofessional, unresponsive, and absent I've ever dealt with.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The place is understaffed, and at times it seemed like one person was handling everything. Staff can be extremely rude and unprofessional. If you ask for a refund, it can take several days to arrive. I saw one roach, and things were constantly breaking; some potentially hazardous problems took hours or even days to get partly fixed. There were also people arrested for theft.
