Hilton Garden Inn Medford, OR

The room was excellent, clean, and up to the quality we expect from a Hilton. They were remodeling, but were considerate and it didn’t affect our stay. The morning was disappointing, though. There was no included Hilton breakfast, one of the main reasons we choose Hilton, just a paid breakfast. There wasn’t even coffee in the lobby.

The room was clean, neat, and modern, and the hallway carpet was bright and welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy. In winter, it was possible to walk in without a booking, though I suspect that may not be true in peak season. The location is convenient, not far from the 5 freeway. If you’re used to a soft mattress, expect some tossing and turning.

Wendy Baker helped make our large board meeting run smoothly. She arranged the setup, checked in throughout the day, and made sure all the details were handled. The meeting room was comfortable, ready for us, and worked well for a large group. Attendees had lots of compliments for the excellent taco bar. From start to finish, the service, hospitality, and atmosphere at the Hilton Garden Inn exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Wendy Baker and the hotel for meetings or events.

I needed somewhere to work for the six hours between checkout and my flight, and they let me stay in the restaurant for a few hours. Earlier, Lizzy helped arrange a 2:30 pm checkout so I could hike Crater Lake and come back to shower, giving me about four hours at the park. Check-in was easy, the bar was nice, and the staff were incredibly helpful with my requests. The rooms are pretty standard Hilton Garden Inn, and downtown was an easy $10 Lyft ride away. Great customer service.
