Belle of the Bends

There are only four rooms, so it feels private, and the gated parking was a plus. We loved relaxing on the porch and looking out over the river. Ms Jessie was so sweet and accommodating, and her cooking was amazing. You won't leave her table hungry unless you choose to! The house itself is wonderful, and the price felt like great value. My wife and I came for our first anniversary and had the most relaxing weekend. We want to make it an annual visit. I can't say enough about how nice it is, stay here next time you're in Vicksburg!

Mary is a fabulous host, and breakfast was served beautifully on proper china. The eggs were fluffy, the fresh strawberry jam was sweet, and the biscuits with milk gravy tasted heavenly. The house is gorgeous too, especially the unusual rounded door trim and detailed crown molding. Definitely a Vicksburg gem.

Miss Jessie is the sweetest, and she makes one of the best breakfasts I've had. The bed and breakfast is spacious and full of history. I loved it and definitely suggest staying here!

Our special night in Vicksburg was made better by this historic place, and I'd recommend staying here. It's a beautiful, well-kept postbellum home. The hostess added to its charm, with plenty of energy, helpfulness, and savvy dining suggestions.
