We left right away and asked for a refund. The room was filthy, the sheets were dirty, things were broken, and it smelled like smoke. We could hear everything going on outside, and we didn’t feel safe. The photos on hotels.com had nothing to do with what we found. The one bright spot was the front desk person, who seemed to understand and refunded us immediately.

After a month with my girlfriend and two kids, we left for the required 24 hours to be out of the system. We’d never had a complaint before, but when we came back, we were told we couldn’t rent there anymore because of the room’s condition. We’d taken our things and trash with us, though we couldn’t sweep or vacuum because the maids weren’t around to ask for a vacuum. We’d switched rooms four times that month and had never been told we were “trashy.” We still weren’t given a valid reason, and Jackie in the office wouldn’t show me photos or give me the owner’s number or corporate contact. I had two kids waiting in the car, and I still haven’t had a call back. Very unprofessional. I want answers. There had been problems in those rooms that we let go. The second room’s toilet broke and flooded the room, damaging our property. Later, we had to move again because the third room had no heat when it was 50° or lower. In another room, the TV screen had visible damage that made it hard to watch, and the toilet seat had a slit that scratched us whenever we sat down. I asked a maintenance worker to at least tape it, but he never came back.

The bed was so hard, and the floors were filthy. I’m worried we might get lice or something. The bathroom was gross too, with a crusty, discolored shower handle, and the walls were dirty, stained, and peeling paint. There were gross stains all over the lampshades. The room smelled, and the a/c made a weird noise. Even the TV volume was very low. This place is a huge dump.

The rooms were filthy and had a horrible smell. The linens clearly didn’t seem fresh, and finding leftovers from previous guests in the fridge was an unpleasant surprise. After staying here, I feel like I need a vaccine. Spend a little more and find somewhere remotely clean.
