The price was only about $20-$30 more than other nearby hotels, and the improvement in cleanliness, quality, and comfort was significant. After a very disappointing stay elsewhere nearby, that difference mattered a lot to our family and gave us peace of mind. This place is newer, felt safe, and had a comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean and well maintained, and the hotel seemed organized and professional. Breakfast was better than I expected for this category. I’d definitely recommend paying a little more to stay here if you’re choosing among hotels in the area.

The lobby seems to always have coffee and tea, and there’s a great machine that grinds and brews the coffee right there. Rooms were clean and had a small fridge and safe, though no coffee maker. The pool, breakfast room, and clean gym were nice, too. It’s close to Space Coast Stadium, with a lovely modern decor and outdoor seating. Sonny’s BBQ is an easy walk across the way, and there’s a gas station and shop down the road. Chick Fil A and McDonalds are across the blvd. I’d stay here again, and would look for this brand when booking elsewhere.

The outside couches, heated pool, and immaculate seating areas made the Avid feel so inviting. I run two weeks of Spring Training for my golf academy each March, and after trying other area hotels over the past five years, this was the cleanest, best run, and most accommodating one we’ve stayed at. Can’t wait to rebook ASAP! Regional manager Jen Cruz and Hotel Manager Jessica Coleman, Team JC Squared, were sensational. They were fantastic and took care of every need. None of my parents or players had a negative thing to say.

I won’t be returning. AirPlay on the television was an advertised room feature, but it wouldn’t connect to my iPhone or my guest’s iPhone. The TV prompted us to go to the front desk, and after we tried several fixes ourselves, staff told us it needed reprogramming. There was no maintenance available at 10:30pm to handle the issue. We asked to change rooms so we’d have a working TV, but were told the hotel was fully booked. My guest and I ended up watching things on our iPhones instead of the nice 55” television. Afterward, management offered 500 IHG points to my account because I was a member when I booked. It’s worth roughly a few dollars. I’m left wondering what the outcome would’ve been if I weren’t a member. With a key feature unusable and no alternative offered, the response felt dismissive rather than customer focused.
