We only stayed one night, but the room was clean and comfortable. Being near the hospital mattered to my son and me. If we need to come back to this area, we’ll definitely stay here again.

I’m traveling across the country on orders with my two cats. This place says it’s pet friendly, but be aware: you may be told after arriving that cats aren’t allowed, or get charged $35 per cat. I wasn’t sure what the policy was. First I heard, “if I’d have known you had cats I wouldn’t have given you the room,” then it became, “I have to charge you 35 per cat.” If you’re bringing animals, I’d suggest staying somewhere else.

We’d prechecked the day before, but the front desk took forever to get us checked in. The woman kept dozing and blamed the slow computer. The TV wouldn’t work, even after we made two trips to the desk for help. We were told there was no maintenance person that night. The remotes only controlled the volume, and we couldn’t get past the Español startup screen. I don’t know how they can call this a Best Western if these are the standards.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was great. I also liked that the parking area was partly fenced. A nice, clean hotel.
