Super 7 Inn

The rules are strict, including no visitors, but that helps keep out a lot of the trouble you might otherwise get. The location is a bit iffy, so I appreciated that the property is gated. For the price, it's not a bad motel. I've never had a problem there myself.

The room felt small for four people, though we didn't spend much time in it, so it wasn't a big issue. Beds were good, it was clean, and the people were super nice. The price and location near Graceland were great, and the gate is a plus. There's no breakfast, which was fine for us. We'd definitely stay again.

I liked the rooms, especially compared with others nearby, and the price wasn't bad. The security gate was reassuring, but I'd rather have a keypad code than need the room key to get in. They only gave us one card, so we had to coordinate coming and going, and I had to walk around to the other side of the building and downstairs to let my guest in. Also, someone knocked and called out “check out time” 15 minutes before checkout. I already knew the time from check-in and didn't need a reminder. Aside from those things, it's a great hotel.

The rooms are really small and only kind of clean, though I've seen worse. The price felt too high for the location, maybe $20 less would make sense since the room is barely half a room. The younger man who checked me in was very nice, but when I asked the night desk person for an extra pillow around 8:30 pm, they wouldn't get one and were rude.
