The Stallion

The loft was beautiful, stylish, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. It felt very modern and convenient, with lots of tech, and I especially liked having two giant TVs to relax with. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. I only wish I could have used the gym, but it’s still in progress. I’m sure it’ll be a great addition once it’s finished. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

We loved exploring the warehouse area, with its shops and restaurants. Gus’s Fried Chicken is a block away, and the National Civil Rights Museum is two blocks away. The two-bedroom loft was clean, nicely decorated, and close to some of Memphis’s main attractions. Underground garage parking and a luggage cart were handy bonuses. What a great find, we’ll definitely stay again.

There were so many little things I appreciated, like bathroom hooks, a full length mirror, a wall clock, labels on everything, toddler utensils, makeup wipes, earplugs, a sound machine, fun lights, lotion, Kleenex, books, and games. They even had Clorox wipes in the halls and a cool “Trader Joes” vending machine in the lobby. I wonder if a woman helped design the space, since these are thoughtful details most air bnb’s and hotels don’t have. We slept great and the customer service was excellent. I only wish there were a recycling bin on site to make the place more Earth friendly.

We loved spending a day in Memphis on our first trip after retiring, visiting Beale Street and Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park. The Stallion was a great place to stay on our way home. The apartment was clean, really nice, and much larger than we expected, in what seemed like a very safe area. Check-in was easy, and it was great having real coffee, a washer and dryer, and a spotless space to relax in. We had no issues and would happily stay again when passing through Memphis.
