Budget Host Killington

The sheets were clean and there were plenty of pillows, and the bed was okay. It was cheap, so it might work for a night while passing through, but I’m not sure I’d bring my family. The room needed a proper cleaning and repairs. There were cobwebs, streaks on the mirror, a filthy coffee area, and dead bug pieces on a couple of towels. The door had three locks, but only one barely worked, so I wedged a chair under the knob. The windows barely locked, and the broken jambs looked like someone had tried to get in. The heater controls were pulled away from the wall, and luckily the night wasn’t cold because I’m not sure the heat ever came on. Wallpaper was peeling, and the toilet seat was only half attached. Cleaning, repairs, and a little pride would help a lot.

The sheets were clean, thankfully, but the blankets were dirty and the beds were hard. Breakfast fell short of even my low expectations. At least it was cheap.

Comfy beds, a good price for the area, and close to both town and the resorts. I’ve been staying here for years.

Good value for what it costs.
