I stay here a lot to see my long-distance partner. Housekeeping keeps coming to our door in the morning to remind us that checkout is at 11. Twice, we've said “okay” and shut the door, but when we came back, staff said my partner was banned. Maybe we didn't say it nicely enough or closed the door too quickly, but we hadn't said anything rude or bad. I think staff are entitled and miserable and taking it out on customers. I'd really like a valid explanation for how we've been treated. My boyfriend is black, and I want to make sure this isn't discrimination, because I can't see another reason for it. Please check the cameras. We've never done or said anything to cause this, and I genuinely don't understand how saying “okay” could be a reason to ban someone. Check what happened before taking staff's word and punishing customers for no reason.

The rooms have clean, comfortable bedding, plus a mini fridge and microwave. I was glad to find a bathtub and shower combo, which is hard to come across in motels now. There's a dog area out front and a small grassy patch by the rooms for pets. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food and drinks are within walking distance. I'm up early, but the city starts getting busy and a little noisy around 6:15 AM, just in time to grab the complimentary coffee in the lobby. Motel 6 has come a long way since the old days. I'd stay again.

So far, so good. It's not a bad spot for one night, and the room was good, with a TV. It's a little out of the way, behind Merced Costco, and about a third of a mile on foot. I'm not sure whether walking through Costco property might make a shortcut.

Adrianana was so kind and helpful in the office, always smiling and taking time to help us with whatever we needed. Our room was clean and we enjoyed the stay. They also let pets stay free, which is great. We look forward to staying again.

Adrainana is really helpful and always greets us with a bright smile. She's so kind to me and my family, and probably the most cheerful worker I've met here. The motel is clean and well kept inside and out. The maintenance guy is cool too, and the maids are kind and helpful. We enjoy them.
