There’s no fridge or microwave in the rooms, so this is a budget stay. It’s clean, courteous, and in a great spot for an overnight stop. The hotel has new owners and they’re still working out some kinks, including upgrading all the rooms, which is why I took off a star for the rooms. Jasmine at the desk and her manager, Mr. Castro, were wonderful. I’d asked for a room where I could keep an eye on my parked vehicle, and they switched me to one that worked. They were very accommodating, and I’d stay here again.

The only real drawback was the noise through the thin walls. We could hear people in the hallway, doors opening and closing, and sounds from the next room. It woke us a couple of times, though we fell back asleep quickly because we were so tired. Light sleepers might find that tough. We stayed three nights while visiting Yosemite and really enjoyed it. The staff and receptionist were always friendly, smiling, and checking if we needed anything. Coffee, hot water, and an ice machine are available by reception 24 hours a day. Check-in was smooth, and our room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed that felt great after long days of sightseeing. There are plenty of diners and food options nearby. We’d happily stay again.

We only stayed one night, and I wish it had been longer. The room was clean and recently refurbished, and staff were very friendly even though we arrived after midnight. They honored my request for a quiet room on the top floor, which I really appreciated after a long flight from Europe. There are fast food places, petrol stations, and shops within walking distance. For anyone visiting Yosemite, the extra 30 minute drive might be worth it if hotel rooms cost 50% less. In Mariposa the next day, we paid twice as much for a significantly worse room. This motel deserves its high rating as of fall 2025.

Jasmine, Alma from housekeeping, and two young gentlemen whose names I can’t recall gave us great customer service. I just wanted to thank them all. We stayed 3nights Oct29th-1st. The room wasn’t that great because there was no refrigerator or microwave, but everything else was GREAT!
