There was no breakfast, and the ice machine didn’t work. The carpets were filthy and stained, and the rooms smelled like smoke and marijuana on every floor. You’ll want shoes for walking around in the room, though thankfully I didn’t find bed bugs in mine. Check-in was a mess: I waited 15 minutes, then knocked, and the front desk man came out from the back cussing and yelling at me because he’d been using the bathroom. I had no idea, and as a 5’2 woman, I didn’t deserve that language or attitude. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The front desk man’s behavior set the tone for the whole stay. 1.3 out of 10, would not recommend.

The room had a strong, nasty odor, like mold or dirt, with room spray apparently used to cover it. We went back to the desk and canceled without any questions, which made me think this probably happens often. We’d reserved the place for a quick visit with relatives, but were already unsure about the location when we drove up. On the way to our room, we noticed some of the other guests and quickly guessed the property was being used for short- or long-term stays by homeless people and immigrants. Stay far away.

The website still advertises breakfast and shows photos of it, but when I asked, I was told they hadn’t served breakfast in years. They haven’t updated the site to let guests know before booking. The room was filthy. The towels, sheets, and chairs all had stains of who knows what, and the rug had what looked like fresh vomit on it that hadn’t been cleaned. Deceit and filth. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The bed was extremely hard, and the sheets had burn holes from smoking, even though the room smelled of smoke despite the no-smoking sign. There was also a double-booking issue they still haven’t resolved. Seeing signs telling guests to wear a mask made me regret booking as soon as I arrived. This place needs serious help.
