Maurice turned a stressful late-night scramble into an easy check-in. We’d been on the road all night and, after booking a room at the La Quinta down the road, suddenly needed somewhere to stay at 1am. He was kind, welcoming, and professional when we were exhausted. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and we slept like rocks. The whole atmosphere and service made the stay great. Big thanks to Maurice for going above and beyond. If you’re in Meridian, stay here, he’s the man!

I’ve stayed here several weeks over the past couple of months. The front desk service is amazing, and things started out great, but my last stay was really disappointing. For several days after work, we came back to find no towels, trash still there, and beds unmade. On the days they did refresh the room, they left the door cracked open. We could walk in without using a key card, and our electronics could easily have been taken. The uncleaned rooms and unsecured door are my only complaints.

Devin checked us in and was kind, helpful, and accommodating, including finding us a good rate. The welcoming staff made this a restful stop on our cross-country drive, and the rooms were nicer than I expected for a value priced hotel: modern, spacious, with comfortable beds and bedding. The large shower had modern tiling and big bottles of the toiletries you’d need. I didn’t try the restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I’d very much recommend this friendly Holiday Inn for a quick stop on a long drive.

I’m Diamond Elite and stay in hotels over 300 nights a year, usually at IHG properties when I can. This hotel’s cleaning service has to be the worst in America. Some days they clean, some days they don’t. Sometimes they take the used towels and replace them, sometimes they don’t bring any back. Washcloths are sometimes missing too, or just left on the door handle. One day I came back from work to find the deadbolt activated so the suite door couldn’t shut. They’d left it that way after taking my towels and not replacing them. Nothing else had been done, and my belongings and computer were left exposed to anyone who might take them.
