I booked four nights, but left after just one because of the room. When I arrived at 8 p.m., it hadn’t been cleaned properly: there were boots under the nightstand, used soap in the shower, water spots on the mirror and sink, and the tub was wet as if someone had just used it. My blanket was stained, too. The room phone didn’t work when I tried calling down to ask for a replacement. I told the woman on duty about the condition, and she said it might have been cleaned and suggested I put in a request for morning service. They still place a $100 hold on your card while handing over a room like that. I also had a payment problem to sort out with management or dispute, but management wasn’t available. It felt like they didn’t care about the guests they host. A terrible stay.

The room was clean and the towels were fresh, which made my stay comfortable. Housekeeping kept everything tidy, and it was clear they care about guests feeling at ease.

I wanted to book directly and just confirm that a one-night stay was available for Friday 1/30. The woman said they didn’t have availability for one-night stays, then asked what I saw online. I told her it showed availability for $69, and she said to book online. I wasn’t asking for a lower price. At first, she hung up on me. When I called back, she said she was busy, denied hanging up, and asked if I could hear the phone ringing. I understand being busy, but this was no way to handle a potential guest. I wouldn’t hire someone with that attitude for a front desk job. She lost my business, and I wonder how many others have been put off the same way.

We were so disappointed that we got up and left without even trying the breakfast. The rooms and bathroom were filthy, the hallway carpet was gross, and the place smelled bad. The couch was dirty, the sheets had holes, and both the tub and bathroom sink leaked all night. The shower railing was broken, and the pool needed upkeep. I’d never stay here again.
