The front desk attendant was friendly and accommodating, and everything else was great. Just be aware that some charges differ between what you see online and what you pay in person. Even after paying for the room online, you have to leave a refundable deposit at check-in. I’m not sure what conditions apply or how long it takes to get it back. We’ll find out when we check out tomorrow.

It felt like a home away from home, which was especially welcome right now. The place and rooms were very clean, and the staff were so nice. There’s plenty of parking, plus a pool and breakfast. The location is handy for shopping and good food, and it’s comfortable and relaxing. I’d recommend staying here.

The staff were quiet but friendly, and breakfast was nice. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again with my family. The room had a long list of problems: the bathroom faucet had literally fallen off, the floors were dirty from what looked like a quick clean, and the bedroom TV had channels that didn’t work. The closet was broken, the sheets had a big yellowish stain, and a towel was ripped. Lighting was poor, one lampshade was covered in stains, and the heater was so loud that it woke me whenever it kicked on. The pool was smaller than the pictures suggested, cloudy and dirty, with clumps of hair and other gross stuff in it. It also seemed overloaded with chemicals. The hotel needs a major renovation. I rarely leave Google reviews, but this place was terrible. I know it’s independently owned and appreciate that, but I still wouldn’t bring my family back.

I’d rented here before, including on January 1st, and that was a good experience. This time was different. I booked a room with two beds for me and my kids. When I checked in with my son, the woman entered the reservation as one adult and one child. I wasn’t asked how many people would be in the room, and I didn’t tell her. She assumed it would just be us because only one child was with me. I had two beds because three of my kids were going to come, making four of us, but my son ended up staying at my sister’s house. While my kids were at the pool, I went to get breakfast. When I came back, Kevin was yelling at them, telling them they had to leave and that I wouldn’t get my deposit back because the reservation said one adult and one child. I explained what had happened, but he kept yelling and things went downhill. On New Year’s, I had booked for one person while two were there and there was no issue.
