Executive Inn and Suites Mexia

I stayed here years ago, and the rooms must have been renovated since then. They looked absolutely beautiful this time, and the staff were very friendly.

I had one small concern, but the staff and management stayed on it until everything was sorted, and it didn’t take long. The employees were courteous and did more than I expected. My room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and I loved the lemon infused water. I love this place.

The pool was a welcome break from the heat, and we enjoyed our stay enough that we’d come back. We were there for about five days. The rooms were great, breakfast was decent, and housekeeping did a wonderful job. The housekeeper we saw several times was so nice. She didn’t speak English, but really tried to understand us or would call someone to translate. The staff were helpful and nice overall. There was one moment when I felt a staff member wasn’t very friendly, but it got resolved and there were no more issues. I often booked cheaper rooms online and brought the bookings to the desk so they could extend our stay, which may have confused them.

The gym has a decent amount of space, dumbbells, and a TV that works, although the treadmill was a little jumpy. My room was clean but had a strange smell, not awful, just like an older place. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, and the staff were nice. Another good experience, as usual.
