72 Park - Miami Beach by Nomada

We booked through Airbnb/Nomada. For me, five stars means nearly everything has to be perfect, and a few issues kept this from that. Some could be fixed, while others were expected or out of anyone’s hands. The beaches were clean and calm when I visited, and I prefer this area to South Beach. It’s walkable to the beach, with quite a few restaurants nearby. The views were great despite the cranes interrupting the skyline. There’s construction noise all day, which comes with all the development here, but bring ear plugs. The sliding doors don’t block sound at all, as the videos show. On two nights there was a loud humming sound overnight, coming from somewhere below near the pool or street. The pool area filled up quickly and had a limit, though luckily the beach isn’t far. The front desk was hit or miss. The younger men were more hospitable, but others seemed to assume I knew my way around and explained little beyond the towel and beach chair service. Two water bottles weren’t enough for a stay longer than a weekend, and the same went for the other items at the coffee station. I also noticed some guests having trouble with the elevator key cards, which could be finicky.

The building team made everything smooth from beginning to end. They were easy to reach and quick to respond. We had a great weekend in unit 1106 at 72 Park, and the views were the first thing we noticed when we walked in. They made it hard to leave. The pool area was fantastic and relaxing, one of the building’s best features. I also liked the business center, a comfortable, attractive place to work or just sit somewhere quiet. The location made the weekend easy, too. It’s only about a five-minute walk to the beach, so we could go back and forth without worrying about driving or parking. 72 Park exceeded our expectations, and I’d recommend it for a relaxing stay with handy amenities.

We were really happy with the stay and would come back. The place is a modern new complex with a heated pool, a well-equipped gym, and a coworking space we didn’t use. The units matched the photos and had modern appliances, including SMEG, Bosch, and Nespresso. It’s not beachfront, but the beach is a straight three-minute walk away. There’s a large grocery store nearby, plus a stop for the free shuttle bus to South Beach. A few kitchen details could be improved. The kitchen was well equipped, but there was only one very large pot, so we had to buy a frying pan. Please add a pan and a smaller pot. We also missed a drying rack on the balcony and a small table and chairs. Coffee capsules, laundry detergent, and dishwasher tablets should be supplied according to the number of nights, instead of just two of each. Sort out those little things and it’ll be perfect. We really enjoyed everything, and will recommend the place to others. Thank you!

The location and price were both great, and the views were beautiful. Everyone was friendly, and our room was clean. We loved staying here and would come back and recommend it.
