Chic Apartments at Miami Beach

After jumping through hoops, we finally reached "the chic apt". It wasn’t an apartment, despite what the listing said, and the room didn’t include any accommodations. I called the person running it, who got loud and said he’d make sure I was removed from the room if I didn’t lower my voice. I told him this wasn’t what I paid for. He said I’d be fully refunded, but only returned part of my money even though I didn’t stay. Why lie, and why treat a customer that way? I’ll contact the BBB. Don’t stay here.

I booked this room over a year ahead, two months ago, but was told my booking had been cancelled. I guess someone else wanted those dates. Once they’ve taken your precharge, it seems they don’t care. It’s pretty unprofessional. Why let people book so far in advance? Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

It’s a facade, a sham that looks good but doesn’t offer much comfort. I couldn’t sleep in the beds, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and after I cancelled, they refused to give me a fair refund.

A lovely place to stay, with a spacious apartment that had everything we needed. It’s one block from the beach and near the shops. There were three toilets, two bathrooms, a washing machine and a dryer.
