Hotel Rendale Miami Beach

Mercy at the front desk was the best part. She greeted us, knew exactly what to recommend, and was so courteous. Her customer service was chef’s kiss. The beds were comfy, the room temperature was just right, and the heated pool was great when it was 50 degrees outside. We’ll stay again and again.

Alvin at the front desk of The Generator Miami made our stay so pleasant. He was welcoming, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived, and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt looked after. It’s rare to meet someone who truly cares about guests having a good experience. Thank you, Alvin!

The pool looks brand new, and the property is beautiful. The room was nice, with a separate toilet and shower with a spray, and no bedbugs. The restaurant was good too, with reasonably priced coffee and breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hallways to the rooms are dark, though, and parking is a problem. We parked at the Metropolis, about a five-minute walk away, for $50 for 24 hours. Check-in was spotty. If you book a king, call to confirm that a king bed is attached to your reservation. They didn’t have one for me at first, but after I waited until 3, they got one. With that possibility, I wouldn’t pay more than $150.

The pool area has a modern design and a zen feel. The rooms are spacious and offer a nice city view, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere felt authentic. Staff were friendly and focused on making sure I had a good stay. They were able to offer me early check-in and check-out. The location is okay, close to the beach but a bit of a walk from other restaurants. There’s no parking on site, and nearby places generally charge $30-$50 a night, so be prepared. Hotel Rendale Miami Beach is a hidden gem.
