Kasa El Paseo Miami Beach

The bed was comfortable, the hot water was good, and the internet worked well. There was coffee too, plus a shared lounge with a microwave and balcony seating for meals. The TV has no channels, but you can connect a phone or computer to watch YouTube. You can text them to store your luggage for a couple of hours, and bikes are available to rent in the building. Late checkout costs extra. It's right on the famous Española Street, with lots of restaurants outside. There's no receptionist, and they send the outside and room door codes shortly before check-in. The building is older Spanish style, and I didn't see an elevator. My room faced the back street and was quiet; one facing the main street could be noisy because of the famous street.

If you mainly need a charming place to sleep and a hot shower between exploring, Kasa El Paseo is a great fit. The room was clean, simply furnished, and nicely decorated. Remote check-in was easy and hassle free. The location is right in the middle of Española way, with the beach a short walk away. If you want lots of amenities or to be pampered, it may not suit you.

We were there for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and the location put us right in the heart of Miami Beach. Nights were loud enough that we needed the provided earplugs and white noise machine to make things tolerable. The AC was also tricky to set, swinging between too hot and too cold. Even with those issues, we enjoyed the stay a lot, and the good outweighed the bad.

Espanola way was magical at night, with a whole block of connected outdoor restaurants, lights, and people from all over the world. We walked around a lot and felt very safe. The Kasa is in the middle of Miami Beach, two blocks from the beach, and our room came with lawn chairs and towels. The room was spacious, modern, and clean, and the entry instructions were excellent. Electric bikes were available for exploring too. We loved the experience.
