I left in the middle of the night after hours of noise, heat, and growing concerns about safety. I've never had to do that while traveling before. There were heated arguments and threats in the hallway overnight, and people outside were shouting and making violent threats. At one point, I honestly questioned whether I was safe. The Paris Hotel wasn't as advertised and fell below basic hospitality standards. The room didn't match its description. The bathroom looked recently updated, but the rest of the room felt dated and neglected. The air conditioning didn't work, the room was uncomfortably hot, the safe was broken, and there was no hot water. The elevator was unreliable, and the lobby was very warm and poorly maintained. I rarely write reviews, but I wanted future guests to know what happened. The hotel failed to meet basic expectations for comfort, accuracy, and safety. I'd strongly urge travelers to look elsewhere.

The room smelled awful and felt neglected, and the bathroom was in bad shape: the bathtub was broken, the toilet was clogged, and it wouldn't flush. The charges also didn't match the price we were promised when booking, which felt misleading and dishonest. We raised the problems right away, but nothing was done. The front desk woman was rude and dismissive and wouldn't listen to our complaints. We felt ignored and treated with no respect as paying customers. This was easily the worst hotel stay I've had. It wasn't worth the money, time, or stress. I strongly warn others not to stay here.

There was a roach in my room, and another guest was at the front desk complaining about the same issue. Staff acted like it was normal. The front desk guy, Selsum, had no spray and didn't offer to move me. He told me not to make a big deal out of it because I probably had roaches at home. His attitude was disgusting. I asked for my money back. He admitted there were roaches in the rooms, but said it wasn't an infestation. When I contacted the hotel about a refund, they said they'd only issue one if I removed my review.

There was a $50 check-in deposit I hadn't been told about when I booked through Airbnb, and I only got $15 of it back. The hotel staff misplaced my ID and found it days later, after I complained through Airbnb. The power went out around 9 a.m. Upstairs, the Wi-Fi barely worked. Many rooms looked run-down and were missing mini-fridges and microwaves. The TVs were old cable models, while the flat screens were in the lobby. The front desk manager didn't like the Black movies playing there and switched them to some white military stuff while I was watching Netflix. Outside smelled like pee, and the mosquitoes were vicious.
