Plymouth Miami Beach

I came to town for work and picked the Plymouth Hotel for its location near the Miami Beach Convention Center. The welcome from GM Shanna was a lovely surprise. She brought me a rose drink and walked me all the way to my room, with the kind of conversation you don’t usually get at a big corporate hotel. Alicia at the desk was sweet and explained the amenities, including the cute pool and beach access I hadn’t realized were included. There were smiling faces and greetings every time I came and went. It was one of the best boutique hotel stays I’ve had. Next time in Miami, I’ll stay at the Plymouth again, this time for an actual vacation. 10/10 service.

I enjoyed the room, the location, and how welcoming the staff were. The room was nice and clean, and it’s very convenient for walking to The Setai, shops, and the beach. The disappointing part was checkout. They said they’d email me a billing overview much earlier, but it never arrived. I had to email the hotel myself later that evening. That part of the service could be handled more professionally. Still, it was a pleasant stay overall.

We only stayed one night at the Plymouth South Beach, and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful, and the clean room had a comfortable bed. It’s on a quiet street in a safe area, within walking distance of the beach, where guests get complimentary lounge chair access. The pool area is very nice too. We didn’t get to try the restaurant because of other plans, though it looked delicious. The little perks included with the stay helped us feel welcome. A very pleasant visit, recommended.

The staff are what make this place special. Everyone was warm, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My room was quiet, with a lovely view of the pool, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The rooms had all the amenities I needed, plus a terrific mini-bar. There’s a beautiful pool area, a cozy bar, Blue Ribbon Sushi, and a cafe that was perfect for breakfast or a snack. I was here for work and didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities, so I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend!
