President Hotel

The beach is just a block away, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. We could leave our luggage in the lobby room until check-in, and the staff were very friendly. The pillows were comfy, and the lighter sheets suited Miami’s warm weather. It’s a small, older hotel, but very clean and beautiful. The resort fee gets you beach access, beach towels, and two drinks at the bar that you’d otherwise pay for, so I thought it was worth it. Our TV didn’t work, but maintenance came to the room promptly. We’ll definitely book again if we’re in Miami.

The room felt worn and could have been cleaner, and the overall condition made the price feel a little high. The bed was perfectly fine, so it was a decent stay, mostly thanks to the people. The staff are the hotel’s heartbeat. The front desk team were professional, and Michael the bartender was fantastic. Everyone made us feel welcome.

The hotel has a rooftop pool, a small bar inside, and breakfast available. It’s very clean, and the staff are friendly. You’re close to the beach, bars, restaurants, and stores, so no car is needed. There’s some interesting history about this hotel if you Google it. Check-in is exactly at 3, valet parking is available, and traffic can be a lot, so drive carefully. I’d stay again!

Henry looked after us from arrival through checkout, welcoming us with a smile, asking what we needed, and seeming genuinely interested in making the stay memorable. The welcome drink was a nice touch, and the bartender was always ready to make something very strong. We stayed two nights and would come back when we’re in Miami. We paid a very small fee to upgrade to the terrace penthouse king room and loved it. The terrace was massive, with wonderful views of the avenues, downtown, and sunset. The whole hotel, including the rooms, felt spacious and very clean. It’s an older place, so not everything is brand new, but it seems well cared for. Breakfast was good, and the rooftop pool was amazing, literally the cleanest pool I’ve ever been in. My girlfriend is a germaphobe and was delighted by how clean and comfortable it was. Impressing her on cleanliness isn’t easy. The area felt safe and nice. It’s a block from the beach and Espanola street, but far enough from the party streets to avoid their noise. The location felt perfect.
