Riviera Hotel South Beach

The hotel made arrival after traveling easy: check-in went smoothly, and on my last day they kindly held my luggage, which made leaving much more convenient. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, especially Ailibe, who went above and beyond with kindness and professionalism. The location was amazing too, so convenient. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the shower door opened inward, so I had to push it to get in rather than pull it out. It was awkward and kept getting my hair wet while I entered. That was a small annoyance, though. Everything else was fantastic, and I’d recommend the hotel.

I booked at the last minute and it worked out perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Nelson at the front desk, who took care of all the little things and greeted me warmly each day. The room was decent and comfortable, in good condition, though a little humid. It’s close to everything, including the beach, food, bikes, and the bus, so it made a great base for exploring. The restaurant food was solid, and the staff there were great too. I’d definitely stay again.

Nelson was so welcoming and kind, and he went out of his way to help us get into our room early. We really appreciated that after traveling. The property is lovely, well cared for, and has a relaxing feel. It’s also right by the beach and close to everything we needed, which made getting around easy. We had a fantastic stay and would happily come back.

The rooftop patio made a huge difference to my stay. Honestly, without it I might have given the hotel two stars instead. It’s also really close to the beach, and there’s happy hour at the bar next door with one free drink from 5-6 PM, a nice perk if you like cheap drinks. You can request daily cleaning too, though my room had no door hanger, so I had to ask in person, which felt awkward sometimes.
