The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club

The food and service were very good, though the tortilla chips with guacamole arrived soggy and stale. I asked for a replacement and they seemed reluctant at first, saying that was how they were, but they did bring another basket. It wasn’t a full basket, though. The place itself is small, cozy, tropical, and clean, with two small pools, one heated and one not. Towels are included. You can use beach chairs with the full-price day pass, which costs $50 without food. I wish I’d come at the last minute, since there was a promotion where you only had to spend $69 for a beach club day pass. I was there for the beach club, not a room stay, so I can’t rate the rooms five stars. It’s a nice spot to hang out after a cruise before a flight.

Lyam made our vacation special, always smiling and looking after what we needed. During a crazy storm, he brought fresh warm towels, drinks, and food, then ran to check that we were okay by the pool. Thank you, Liam. The hotel was great, and it wouldn’t be the same with snooty employees. You're hired! We need you.

The beach and pool were my favorite parts, and the hotel has a lot of charm. Room noise sometimes carried between spaces, but overall I had a great stay and would absolutely return to the savoy. The larger rooms are worth considering because the difference is huge. I wanted to leave a review after my first night because the service had already been so good. Everyone was kind and made an effort to keep things seamless. Billy was especially personable and helpful. After my stay, I also want to call out Marco and the whole team by the beach chairs. They made the experience feel above and beyond, and the hotel itself is stunning.

Macarena was the best waitress we had on the whole trip, and Julián was helpful and attentive to every detail. The food and drinks were top-notch too. We had an incredible few days relaxing here, and I’d love to come back.
