Secret Garden Miami Beach

The breakfast was basically coffee and boiled eggs, with no real choice or effort. When my key card stopped working, the desk staff said, “We can’t keep doing this,” instead of sorting it out professionally. They came across as rude and arrogant, with no accountability or customer service. I was charged a cleaning fee for four days, but housekeeping came only once, and when I asked for fresh towels, I was told they had none. I couldn’t get help when I needed it. There were hidden fees and none of the basic service I expected. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had in Miami, and I won’t return. I’d tell others to avoid it too.

Terri at the front desk made our anniversary trip feel special. He kept checking that everything was right with our stay and always welcomed us with a smile. We had the penthouse on the top floor, with a great view and a perfect room. The lounge and lobby are among the prettiest spots in Miami’s mid-beach area, and the food in Miami is to die for. Secret Garden made our trip one of a kind, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place for our first anniversary.

Terry and Andrea at the front desk were so welcoming and down to earth. Their kindness and help made me feel looked after the whole time. The room was comfortable, beautiful, and well maintained, and the location was just right. I’m grateful for the warmth I received and would happily come back. The cleaning and reception staff were friendly, which is why I’m giving two stars. My air conditioning stayed broken for the whole visit. They really did try to fix it, but it wasn’t working by the time I left, and the manager promised me a discount that never came through. The breakfast was the worst quality I’ve seen, with barely anything there, as the photo shows. It felt like the owners were doing the bare minimum while continuing to charge room rates and extra fees. I won’t stay here again.
