The bathrooms are cleaned around 8-9 a.m., which was inconvenient when we wanted to shower and get ready. Reception also forgot to return our IDs, so we had to go back for them. I wish the staff had been more considerate and made check-in quicker. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the reception staff were nice. The kitchen wasn't perfect, but it worked. The price may look low, though there are better choices for the same amount, especially if you're not traveling alone.

We booked two nights but left after one because we were so uncomfortable. The only positive I can think of is the location. A lot of things were broken or close to it: the fridge didn't work, toilets had problems with doors or were out of order, floor tiles were cracked, and shower doors wouldn't close or the showers didn't run properly. The beds were small and uncomfortable, towels and sheets were stained, and the room windows wouldn't open. Internet only worked in the small, uncomfortable downstairs lounge. At check-in, staff gave us no information about breakfast, happy hour, checkout, or anything else. The facilities, cleanliness, staff, and comfort all fell short. I wouldn't advise staying here.

Free breakfast, clean rooms and showers, and friendly, helpful staff are only part of why I love this place. It's just two blocks from the beach, and the limited residential parking passes have been a lifesaver for me. I've stayed four times over the four years I've lived in Florida, in Tampa Bay, and had a great time every visit. They put on fun events and trips too. I went to club LIV with a group from the hostel and had so much fun. I really can't say enough good things about it.

There's a big mirror wall that I love, along the room hallway and in the bathrooms. The place is easy on the budget, which suits me, so I'd recommend it to other budget-minded travelers. It's a very laid-back spot, and the front desk is just as nice and relaxed. Breakfast is free, beach rentals are free, and they even offer free drinks from 5 to 5:30 pm.
