I ended my membership after many years because being a member had become unacceptable. What finally pushed me to leave was the way members were treated. Rules came with needless confrontation and no empathy or basic judgment, leaving you feeling like a problem instead of welcome. The beach is almost always overcrowded and poorly managed. It feels hectic and neglected rather than exclusive or relaxing. Parts of the property look worn, poorly maintained, and sometimes unpleasant to use. Service was consistently poor too. Staff often seemed unmotivated, inadequately trained, and sometimes openly unfriendly. Simple requests dragged on, food took an unreasonable amount of time, and the result rarely felt worth the wait. Avoid joining.

The pool, beach, rooms, and restaurants all made the atmosphere feel special, and every staff interaction felt sincere. From check-in onward, everything went smoothly, and the team was warm and welcoming. My husband and I were even surprised with an upgrade, which made the visit extra memorable. We had such a great time and are already hoping to return soon. It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave.

Great location, but I’d tell people to avoid the membership. After being a member and guest for many years, I finally cancelled following an on-and-off relationship with the organization lasting more than 15 years. There had long been things that bothered me about how my family, especially my wife, was treated. As a Peruvian-American, she experienced what felt like biased behavior from staff on numerous occasions. The final straw was a large bouncer stationed at the women’s locker room to stop my wife from using the bathroom. That’s an outrageous way to treat a member’s family. I’ve spent hundreds of thousands here and regret every dollar. I can’t imagine bringing business partners, clients, or relatives here to enjoy the house. I plan to speak out against the organization for the rest of my life. Staying a member is one of my biggest regrets. Avoid it.

We had the best weekend for my aunt’s birthday. Ron in reservations made a real difference and helped make it unforgettable. At the hotel, JC at the front desk was so helpful and kept checking whether we needed anything, day or night. The pool and beach teams were lovely too, and Nico at the upstairs bar was great. The hotel is beautiful, the food is tasty, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
