The March Hotel

It’s an easy walk to just about anything you need: the beach and Ocean Drive are a couple of blocks away, with CVS, Walgreens, restaurants, bakeries, and bars nearby. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly. We had a great stay at March Hotel. A solid choice if you want a comfortable spot with a good location and less chaos than staying right on Ocean Drive.

We spent mornings with the coffee provided in the room and evenings at the wet bar, taking in the city lights from our balcony. I’ve never seen one so spacious! We had a suite with a balcony, so the room was a bit smaller, but the built-in unit gave us plenty of storage. The March Hotel is quaint, modern, and clean, with friendly, helpful staff. It’s only a few blocks from the beach, Ocean Drive, lots of restaurants, and a CVS. There’s also a calming feeling here, like a respite from a world that’s a little crazy right now. I love everything about it.

We used the hotel for one night before a cruise, and they stored our luggage before and after checkout. It’s a great location, under a 10-minute walk to the beach and Ocean Ave. The room could’ve been cleaned better, since there was hair left in the shower by a previous guest. The elevator wasn’t working when we arrived, but we made do. Nothing major besides the cleanliness, and for the price we’d probably stay again.

We liked the hotel enough to cancel a second reservation elsewhere and come back. The beachfront location is a real highlight, and the beach service was outstanding. Our room was modern and excellent, with a perfect bed and bathroom. The three receptionists and the rest of the staff were very attentive and helpful, including the valet service, which was always impeccable. Orilla, the hotel restaurant, was excellent too. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to friends.
