The main drawback in the apartment was the old bathroom, with lots of rust and tiles falling off. Otherwise, it was a good weekend stay, with a full kitchen and amenities, washer and dryer, full-size bed, and comfortable couches. A few things happened that didn’t affect my stay. There’s no free parking in this residential area, except maybe during some daytime hours. They tow cars without a sticker, and nearby parking can cost $4 an hour, so I’d have a backup plan. We had trouble with the Wi-Fi, but the landlord fixed it right away. Also, when we called the receptionist about parking and Wi-Fi, a rude woman answered. She apparently didn’t know her number was posted for people renting at The Met to ask questions. She didn’t answer us and kept asking how we got her number. The area made up for those issues, and the experience was good.

The place feels old and dirty. The oven and washer both didn’t work, and the smart TV had no channels. The internet barely had a signal, so I couldn’t connect. I called over and over to get at least the washer fixed, but nothing was done. Not worth the money at all. Don’t waste it, this feels like a trap.

No WiFi, and the cable didn’t work either. There wasn’t even a TV in the bedroom. If you’re only after a quick place to hook up and go enjoy Collins ave, maybe that’s all you need, but otherwise I wouldn’t pick this spot.

After trying five times, someone finally picked up and hung up on me before I could make a reservation. I’d already searched the hotel online and found some awful reviews. I won’t be staying here.
