Courtyard by Marriott Miami Airport

I enjoyed my one-night stay after missing a connecting flight. The room was spacious and nice, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The free shuttle to and from the airport came about every 15 minutes. It was a bit noisy because the hotel is so close to the airport, but that was expected.

The rooms are dated but clean, with basic bathrooms and comfortable beds. The mini fridge was a little dirty. There's a free airport shuttle every 15 minutes, plus a basic market downstairs where you can get food and drinks to go.

The airport shuttle was quick and reliable in both directions, and my room was clean and really comfortable. I don't always find hotel beds comfortable, so that stood out. I also loved the pool area and the overall feel of this beautiful hotel.

The service and cleanliness really impressed me. When we arrived, they let us choose which floor we wanted, and our room was so clean I wish I'd taken pictures. The lobby is huge. We enjoyed the restaurant and both ordered cheeseburgers, though it was pricey, more like upscale dining. Expect to spend at least $50-60 for two people. Our toilet kept running after each flush, so we'd jiggle the handle to stop it. By morning it wouldn't flush at all. When I told the front desk, they offered to send someone right away. We were checking out in two hours, so we used the lobby restroom, then showered and left. I reminded them about the toilet at checkout so they wouldn't forget, and they took $25 off the meal from the night before for the inconvenience. That was really nice and more than they needed to do. I'd recommend the hotel and would go back.
